Name: Lexi Alvarez Title: I Have Lived a Thousand Years Author: Livia Bitton-Jackson Total Pages This Week: 100 Date: April 13th, 2008 Pages: 40-140

In this book so far I just I see a lot of mean and sad things going on here. Such as like when the Hunagarian Police would not let the mother keep that picure. I thought that was a really sad part the least they can do is let her keep a picture. I feel bad for all of the people who are going under all of that pressure of how mean those people are to them.

I think that Elli is the best character and obviously the main character of the book. Also I think that her mom trys to stay strong but sometimes she breaks down. I feel bad for Ellie because of her dad. This book makes me just sort of real sad. I see her mother as the second most main character in this book. I cant wait to finish this book and actually find out how this book will actually end off.

Question: Do you think that book will end in a positive note or negative? Explain?

I think that this book will end in a positive and negative note . I think that, of course, Ellie will make it through and that will be one of the positives. But, I also think that it will end in a negative note because it was a war after all and a lot of people died from it and maybe her father and brother died too. :(

I also thought that the part where they did not let the mother keep the picture of her baby was really sad.

i think that the book will end in a positive and sorta negative note because i think that the father or brother will get separated from the mother and Elli or they will get killed but positive because obviously Elli will survive.
